Heath Evans Foundation Softball Showdown

          -Wednesday May 16^th, at Zephyr Field

          -Home Run Derby begins at 6:30pm

          -Softball Game featuring current New Orleans Saints players starts at 7:00pm

          -Tickets only $12.00

1st Annual Underclassmen Metro Showcase Games At Tulane’s Turchin Stadium

Game Times

        -Saturday, May 19^th at 7:00pm - 11^th Grade Showcase Game

          -Sunday, May 20^th

                    -10:00am 8^th Grade Showcase Game

                    -2:30pm 9^th Grade Showcase Game

                        -7:00pm 10^th Grade Showcase Game

All Day Tickets - $12.00 (5 years old and under free)

Who is Playing?
This is a LHSAA sanctioned event with players from all over New Orleans and the surrounding area. All players were first nominated by their school coaches and the final rosters were selected by The New Orleans Baseball Coaches Association. It was at tremendous honor just to be nominated and the players participating are the best of the best in their age groups.

In 2011 Big Easy Sportsplex was the sponsor of the Heath Evans Foundation's Saints Softball game and home-run derby. Pictured on left is the Big Easy's Joey Cabeceiras, Saints quarterbacks Chase Daniel and Drew Brees, and Big Easy's Derek DeLatte. Drew Brees took home the home-run derby championship for the second straight year. The growth of the Big Easy Sportsplex since our opening has been at an incredible pace. That growth could not be possible without the members and coaches who represent local playgrounds, elementary schools, high schools, colleges and even professional athletes. All of us at Big Easy Sportsplex & Baseball Academy thank you for your continued support.
