Kids participate in three aspects of softball/baseball, with various points awarded based on each.
- Pitch – 6 balls will be thrown at a strike zone target from 35’ (girls) or 45’ (boys). Balls can be thrown by any preferred method; overhand or underhand.
- Hit – 3 swings will be taken from a batting tee, with the best of the 3 swings/hits being measured in distance/accuracy, based on where the ball first hits the ground.
- Run – Runners will be given 1 attempt and will be timed while running from 2B to Home.
